The illustration transports these two Pokémon to an ancient sanctuary whose walls are covered in geometric decorations and the marks of time. Mega Magearna occupies the left side of the drawing, surrounded by a gigantic gear that hints at its mechanical origins and sophisticated automaton appearance. Its silhouette features many elements to color, including its circular ornaments, joints, long legs, and the details of its metallic body. This Mythical Steel/Fairy-type Pokémon combines an elegant look with a uniquely mechanical design. On the right, Mega Chimecho appears to float in front of the ancient stones, with its large ring, two upper appendages, and small hanging decorations. This new form of Chimecho, a Psychic/Steel type, has an appearance inspired by bells and traditional objects associated with harmonious sounds. The two characters stand out against an architectural background of friezes, carved panels, and cracks that give the temple an abandoned look. Children can use gold, silver, and pink hues for Mega Magearna, while softer colors can highlight Mega Chimecho. The walls and large gears also offer plenty of opportunities to experiment with stony, metallic, or fantastical tones.
